I’m sure a lot of us showed this off to our families over Thanksgiving. I know I did too.
This comment could have been applied to a lot of the posts about our election coverage, but I felt bad for all the people who didn’t get to ever interview a candidate because they didn’t show up on time. It was kind of like the “big fish” of the night that everyone was trying to catch, but if they don’t show up, they don’t show up. I read on Courtney’s post that her candidate came just as they were leaving. That would be pretty frustrating.
You did a good job of getting a lot of other interviews from people at the campaign, so the coverage was still definitely a good quality, but I’m sure it was disappointing nonetheless.
Reporting the elections was a great experience. I loved interviewing the PC supporters and bringing our audience live information on the election. My family all over Ontario tuned in (Windsor, Mississauga, Kitchener, Toronto, Newmarket) and thought the show was a great example of the wonderful…
