I’m scared for when my day to be editor will come, but I’m sure that I, like you, will learn a lot. I’m more comfortable on camera than behind it, but that is something I need to work on.
I’m also really happy with our story from last week. It was really great for us to get that footage, and Alyssa and I put a lot of work into that story. Though her name isn’t ever mentioned in the story, Alyssa was great, helping contact Sharkwater, editing, and being there for the adventures (such as going to the Chinese restaurant), trying to call an interview that we never got, and running the camera. She was really easy to work with and I want to make sure she gets the credit she deserves.
I feel bad if people associate that story with me, because it was definitely a two-person effort, and a successful one at that.
Last week was 519 Online New’s second official broadcast of the semester, and our show was very colourful and very strong.
